About
Colin Crilley is a graduate of Cornell University where he studied Film, Visual Studies, Theatre, and Computing in the Arts. Having always lived in coastal regions, he loves to spend time in the outdoors when he isn’t spending time in front of his computer or behind a lens.
After a lifetime of Scouting, culminating in Eagle Scout rank, Colin was afforded the opportunity to get back in the outdoors with Cornell Outdoor Education. Within COE he taught Backcountry Photography and Tree Climbing courses, offered locally (climbing in Ithaca, New York), nationally (climbing the giant Redwoods) and internationally (climbing in the Costa Rican rain forest). In pursuing these activities, he has used his skills to collaborate on scientific research with the University of California Berkeley Center for Forestry, create archival video documentation for the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, and co-produce three short tree climbing documentaries.
After his tenure in documentary production on the East Coast, he headed west to Los Angeles to work n Television Development and field productions for a variety of networks including Discovery, Lifetime, A&E, Science, History, and Bravo among many others.
He currently resides in sunny South Florida producing branded visual and written content for the brightest airline flying today.
