Against the Tide (2012)
This experimental documentary focuses on two men, David Katz and Mark Holton. One travels the world nine months out of the year and the other is director of risk management at one of the nation’s largest collegiate outdoor education programs. Two men that greatly influenced my outlook on life. Before meeting them, my life was on track for mediocrity, without me ever realizing.
Dave and Mark made me look at the world around me differently, and I used this differed view as the motif of this video. Every shot has been digitally altered in some way.
