Raptors in the Kitchen (2011)
“Raptors in the Kitchen” is a final project from a sound design course. Students were handed this silent video clip and the assignment was to put all the sounds (except vocals) into this scene from scratch, working only from the department’s sound library. Sounds ranging from badgers to doorbells were used to create different effects, each being substantially modified for use. The simplistic scoring was created using evolving synthesizers.
